Bed Time Routine helps baby unwind, relaxes and calms them down, and helps them fall asleep easily. It makes child develop a healthy habit and ease them to sleep. Establishing a routine of brushing teeth before going to bed or a standard bath habit are very vital and healthy custom. If a time table is develop in kids from the beginning, they will tend to keep the healthy habit for the rest of their life.

What should be included in the routine is upto us. There's the standard bath routine, putting on pajamas, reading a story, playing soft music, having a cuddle, or playing a quiet game.   • Encourage the kids to read in bed. Reading a novel at bedtime is always the favourite routine with the kids. They love listening to story while they are in bed.
  • Make a routine to brush the teeth before going to bed. This will create a hygiene sense in them. A good warm bath is also consider to be a hygienic routine. It is one of the most popular parts of many Bed Time Routines. Sitting in warm water is a soothing experience and getting baby warm, clean and dry is a great way to ease them into bedtime
  • Chat with the kid, this is a great time for us to spend some quality time with our kids and teach them while talking with them. Children grasp easily and remember for a long time which they listen from their parents.
  • Playing some games before bedtime is a nice way to spend some fun time with the kids.
  • Playing some music is also a good time table. Playing some children's favourite number will help ease their transition from being awake to falling asleep.
  • Encourage them to say their prayer and ask them to wish everyone goodnight before they are off to bed.
  • A kiss and a cuddle and put the lights off. If the child is scared of the dark, switch on a nightlight or leave a light on in the hall.

Child’s development will benefit from a daily eleven to twelve hours of sleep. This will ensure a healthy growth of kids mind and body. These healthy and hygienic activity ensure a good routines in the kids and make them responsible from the beginning.
