From Laborious Large Family to Facile Large Family
A large family is directly proportional to large responsibilities. Every member of the family is different and so are their needs starting from their choice of daily TV show to their eating and sleeping habits.
Taking care of a large family can be exhausting and could wear you out; being patient and staying composed are the key ingredients here. Take a minute to go through these family management tricks and reduce your labor:

- Managing the Pounds and Pennies: Plan your monthly budget by tracking the family's past income and expenditure. Cut on any expenditure you consider being unnecessary.
-
Time management: The clock is always ticking for the Stay at home moms; so for you, every minute counts. Use time management strategies and fix up your family's schedule.
-
Delegate: You only have two hands and two feet, you can't do everything by yourself. Use the technique of delegation and divide the household chores. Even having everyone fold the laundry could save your time. You could also teach your children to make their beds which could further save your time.
-
Keep a First Aid Kit: No matter how careful you are with your family, kids will always get sick or hurt. They will count on you to know what to do. Keep a first aid kit handy with bandages, ointments, thermometer, essential capsules, etc.
-
Focus on all: Divide your attention among all family members equally. Don't concentrate only on the needs of the youngest child; spend equal time and energy with your other children, spouse and in-laws.
-
Fix the Food Chart: Plan the food menu for six days of the week, not ignoring the favorites of any member. Keep the seventh day vacant for leftovers of the week, dining out or trying out a new dish.
- The large family meeting day: Fix one day of the week as 'the family meeting day' to discuss any plans or decisions that you wish to be implemented.
As the family CEO, it’s you who has to keep the house running smoothly. Remember people and families are never perfect, but we should always strive to make them perfect!
