The news of pregnancy comes as a thrilling to a woman but a little nerve-racking and fretting to a man. He may not know how to express his happiness about the news or his fear and anxiety about the responsibilities attached with it. He may sound too confused thinking about a little one that will he ever be able to raise him properly or will be able to make a bond with his little toddler? Fatherhood surprises come with a mix of feelings, jolting you every time you think about the upcoming little baby. People who are expecting their second child normally don’t show such nervousness. But newly expected fathers have their own set of preconceived queries. How will he be able to show his affection? How should he respond when he hold the baby for the first time? When you hold your baby in your arms, he/she will let you know what caring is. Your cuddle and its warmth that you feel while embracing your child, is something that will tell you what you should do next. All of your fear and worries will dissipate as soon as you hug your baby and he/she respond to your touch.

If you think you can get away easily by only giving your appearance in the labor room, then you are wrong. You have to give your share in diaper changing, sleepless nights and food feeding sessions as well. And believe me, once you get into that, you’ll start caring about child even more.
