Morning sickness comes along with pregnancy. Not all the woman have morning sickness, but most of them do experience it during pregnancy. As the name suggests, it does not mean that a woman will only feel sickness during the morning hours but she can also not feel well throughout the day.  

Morning sickness generally happens during the first trimester of pregnancy and ends by the second trimester. But there are chances that some women may have it throughout their pregnancy. Morning sickness actually means felling of nausea, vomiting and burning sensations.  

The symptoms may be different for different people. Some may experience it in the afternoon and some may experience it during night. One may also feel sickness after having meals. 

A lot many people believe that morning sickness is caused by a change in the hormonal levels in a woman’s body which accompanies vomiting and feelings of nausea, while others suggest that it protects the mother from the intake of harmful materials like teratogens or abortifacients. 

Many women feel morning sickness after taking some medicines. They prefer to change their timings then. Also, the doctor may suggest them to change their medicines at times.

Morning sickness is not a serious disease but at time it may turn serious and may be risky for the mother as well as for the baby.  
Sometimes a woman may not have a proper diet and may be undergoing a lot of vomiting; this may cause a loss of a lot of water content which is not good for the body.

Morning sickness is a normal thing that comes along with pregnancy. Overcoming morning sickness is not so difficult an issue if one takes the necessary steps.
