The body produces 50% more fluids. When the body creates space for a new being and the amniotic sac is filled with fluid, the circulation of blood increases and more nutrients are needed. The weight automatically increases.

Why Does Swelling Increase during Pregnancy?

Different women have different lifestyle which contributes to the swelling during pregnancy. It is generally believed that swelling increases during the third and fourth trimesters of pregnancy. Some of the causes are:
